Located in Drysdale’s Old Court House 11 High St Drysdale, the museum is adjacent to the bustling centre of Drysdale.

Here at Bellarine Historical Society inc. , we are a vibrant social group with common interests and a common culture reflected by the motto "Preserving the History of the Bellarine Peninsula". We recognise that we are on the traditional home of the Wadawurrung people. The values we project can shape the culture we share. We strive to show courtesy and respect, we collaborate and try to be open and transparent in our operations. We seek to inspire our community to greater and better things
Bellarine Historical Society is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Nonprofit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
YOU CAN JOIN OR VOLUNTEER
Our organisation is run entirely by volunteers. You can assist by joining our group and or volunteering in the many jobs we undertake in the museum, research room or community
Due to extensive renovations our Museum and Research Centre will not open until later in 2020 THE TALK ON "THE EDINA" HAS BEEN POSTPONED. "Remember the Edina" The famous bay Steamer Guest Speaker Lorraine Stokes Visitors welcome --We will advise of new date once museum refurbishment is complete
At Bellarine Historical Society, we have a busy program of events, meetings, open days, visits and guest speakers. This program evolves throughout the year.
